In this workshop, we will experiment with different ways to color fabrics and yarns without synthetic chemical dyes. This will involve creating color from plants, rust, or bacteria, and exploring different design possibilities with resists, space-dyeing, pH-modifiers, and more.

Isabelle Camarra is a textile designer specializing in industrial knitting, weaving, and sustainable material development. She studied textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design and currently works as a Textile Scientist at the University of Maine.
